The angled faceplate extends beyond the cutout or hanger. It is 5/16"wide at the top and 5/8"wide at the bottom. The unique front finger grip (pull out) allows for easy removal and access to the receptacles, phone lines, data lines, and USB ports.

Once the FC-625 is connected to the data lines and the USB ports, the unit is a great source for connecting your laptop to a PDA, BlackBerry device and/or camera docking station. The electrical outlets and data lines are protected from power surges and lightning strikes. The FC-625 offers 1110 joules of surge protection, a ground indicator light, and a 10 foot 14-3 power cord with a 45 degree right angle plug for connecting to a wall outlet (the 45-degree plug allows plenty of clearance so that the other wall outlet is not blocked). The unit is rated at 12 AMPS and is UL and cUL listed. The FC-625 has 2 receptacles on front and 1 receptacle on the rear that have constant power. The unit also has 3 receptacles on the rear that are controlled by the switch on the face of the unit.

The FC-620 also offers one power receptacle and matching data, phone and USB ports on the back of the unit. The unit offers 416 joules of surge, a ground indicator light and a 10 foot 14-3 power cord with a 45 degree right angle plug connecting to a wall outlet. The unit is rated at 12 AMPS and is UL & cUL listed. The green light indicates that the unit is connected to a properly grounded wall socket. The red light indicates that the unit is on and the surge suppression is working.
