The number of mount pieces included with each panel depends on panel width. Panels up to 54" wide will come with two mount pieces. Panels 60" or wider will come with three mount pieces. SMARTdesks recommends three mount pieces for all custom widths greater than 54". Please contact us if you require custom panel widths.

Edge clamps:
Edge clamps are designed to support panels on the outside edges of the table. They can be mounted with knob, lever, or hex clamps. Hex clamps are lower profile than knob or lever systems.
- Two edge clamps (knob, lever, or hex) are included with each panel up to 54".
- Three edge clamps (knob, lever, or hex) are included with each panel 60" or wider.
Although you could use the Middle/Double Middle Clamps to put a panel on the left or right edge of the table, it is more stable to use the Edge Clamp.
Freestanding mounts:
Freestanding mounts sit atop the work surface and can be moved freely.
- Two freestanding mounts are included with each panel up to 54".
- Two freestanding mounts and one center pad are included with each panel 60" or wider.
Middle clamps:
Middle clamps are designed to support panels that run perpendicular to the front edge of the desk. Middle clamps can be ordered as single units (includes one middle clamp and one center pad), or double units (includes two middle clamps and center pad if panel is 60" or wider).
- One middle clamp (knob or lever, single) and one center pad are included with each panel up to 36" wide.
- Two middle clamps (lever, double) are included with each panel up to 54" wide.
- Two middle clamps (lever, double) and one center pad are included with each panel 60" or wider.
Top mounts:
Top mounts are designed to support panels that run either parallel or perpendicular to the edge of the desk.
- Two top mounts are included with each panel up to 54".
- Three top mounts are included with each panel 60" or wider.
